Coinstick Dance From the Bai People of Yunan Province, the coinstick dance is said to have been passed to the region from the Han people who moved from the southern part of China. The dancers hold a bamboo stick to make their own rhythms and there are set patterns, gestures and body movement that goes with the rhythms. The dance is choreographed by Prof. Yue YaMing of the Yunan Arts Institute 6 minutes
